Our Story
Button Consultancy & Training was built from experience, not theory.
For over 30 years, we’ve worked across mining, construction and resources – environments where leadership decisions have a direct impact on the people, safety, productivity and performance.
We saw a recurring problem across the industry: technically capable people were being promoted into leadership roles because they were good at the job, but were often given little preparation for the very different challenge of leading people.
The transition from doing the work to leading people who do it can be difficult. Communication changes. Accountability changes. Expectations change and the pressure to deliver doesn’t go away.
